It was a really nice fall day here as Norfolk Southern SD70IAC 1228 led a pair of Union Pacific ES44ACs (7357 & 7743) on the head end of NS train 25A. A photo and video are below shot as the train passed east through Belle Meade today on the B-Line in Virginia. Many of the crossings with gates now have electronic warning bells, but this one at the Fiery Run Road crossing still retains its mechanical bell. It is not a busy road, but perhaps the gates were installed as protection due to poor sight lines approaching the crossing.
