Since the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad restored ex-Chesapeake and Ohio 2-6-6-2 1309, I’ve been meaning to visit the railroad. I finally made it out to Cumberland, Maryland on September 13, 2025 to see the locomotive in action. Here are some photos and a pacing video I made riding my bicycle. I had a great time and am already thinking about getting back up there.
